CIMA Construction, Management, and Design was founded by professionals trained in architecture — people who spent years designing stores from inside the corporate office of Mail Boxes Etc., the brand that was later acquired by UPS and became The UPS Store, before ever picking up a hammer. That background still shapes how we work: every build-out starts as a set of drawings we understand inside and out, because our roots are in drawing them.
In 1997, that design experience became a construction company. Instead of handing finished drawings to someone else to build, we set out to build them ourselves — seamlessly connecting design and construction under one family-owned roof.
Nearly three decades later, our dedicated team of design consultants, construction workers, permit expediters, and project managers still works as a single unit — providing strategic construction solutions across Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties.
